Individual and Group Nutrition Counseling

Everyone wants to feel healthier and happier. We know from years of experience that group or individual nutrition counseling can make a radical difference in the way you feel.At Cornell Health & Nutrition, we believe that each person needs his/her own eating plan – no one diet works for everyone. Together, we’ll identify what you need.

Individual nutrition counseling is ideal if you want your experience to be confidential and completely focused on you. When we work together one-on-one, we explore concerns specific to you and your body and discover the tools you need for a lifetime of balance.

When you participate in one of our health wellness programs, you will:

Individual nutrition counseling includes:

  • A series of one-hour sessions (number varies by program)
  • Cooking classes in YOUR kitchen
  • Cost-free participation in group seminars and classes
  • E-mail support between sessions
  • Books, CDs, handouts and other materials
  • Food samples and self-care products
  • A monthly newsletter
  • Access to my lending library of health and wellness books

Individual Nutrition Counseling Packages

Cornell Health & Nutrition offers the following programs to meet the varying needs and goals of our clients.

  • Platinum Package

    Like a personal trainer who keeps you on track, this program provides you with intense support and coaching. This package is ideal for clients who need more support, larger weight loss, or greater accountability. Platinum package includes offer weekly meetings for 4 months (16 meetings) plus four 2-hour cooking lessons.

  • Gold Package

    This program helps you eliminate bad habits you have acquired from former diets. Weekly meetings for the first 2 months help you get started. Then you settle into bi-weekly meetings for the next 3 months, for a total of 14 sessions. Also includes three 2-hour cooking lessons.

  • Silver Package

    Kick-start your commitment to healthier living with weekly meetings for the first month, then bi-weekly meetings after that for a total of 12 sessions; includes two 2-hour cooking lessons.

  • Bronze Package

    This program features bi-weekly meetings for 6 months (12 sessions) and includes two additional 2-hour cooking lessons.
